Description
iOverlander is a database of places for overlanders and travelers. It includes camping, hotels, restaurants, mechanics, water, propane filling and many other categories. Details are listed for each place, including amenities, photos, date last visited and GPS coordinates.
In addition to finding places, you can add new places, leave reviews, save favorites, and share places with other travelers. All of these features will work offline. Subscribe to iOverlander Pro or Unlimited to download maps, to be able to view points on maps even when you are out of cell range.
iOverlander is an app built for Overlanders, by Overlanders. It has been tested worldwide, across hundreds of thousands of miles.

Bye bye iOverlander
After using and really enjoying the legacy version of this app for several years, I happily moved on to the 2.0 version thinking it would be even better. What a mistake! Like many others have said, the maps are nearly impossible to read and the subscription costs are nuts. Pity to see such a good app die…
Unfortunate and shameful upgrade
iOverlander 1 is not perfect but useful when travelling on various types of adventures. This new version doesn’t offer much more in terms of information but requires paying 129$ per year to access what is freely available on the old app. Utterly pointless, utterly useless, utterly ridiculous. Sad to see that profit took over the mission of each and every user who added information to the platform. Shameful.

Bad update
New update makes the maps so confusing to read and follow, no offline maps unless you pay the subscription! The old app is way better, so not update!!
