**Jane Online Appointments is a *HIPAA and PHIPA/PIPEDA compliant app* used only when iOS users need to gain access to their secure Telehealth calls**. Please note, this is not a traditional App. Once the App is downloaded, you can tuck it away for safe-keeping and continue to access your Online Appointments via your default iOS web browser, Safari.

How it works for a client:

- Head to the clinic's online booking site.
- Book a visit with a practitioner that uses Jane and offers Online Appointments.
- Download the **Jane Online Appointments iOS App.**
- **Exit the App, and tuck it away for safe-keeping (you will not need to access it again unless an update is required).**
- Navigate to your default web browser, **Safari.**
- If you booked an Online Appointment with a practitioner, you will receive an email 30 minutes before your appointment with a link to begin the session, or you can begin the session from your My Account area of the clinic’s online booking site.

How it works for a staff member:

- Login to your Jane account.
- Set up an Online Appointment treatment type and book a client for an Online Appointment.
- Download the **Jane Online Appointments iOS App.**
- **Exit the App, and tuck it away for safe-keeping (you will not need to access it again unless an update is required).**
- Navigate to your default web browser, **Safari.**
- Go to a booked session that will start within the hour and tap on "Begin".

No screen rotation, setup instructions totally inaccessible

Between them, I lost 10min of my appt time. Tl;dr no screen rotation means hold the phone or crush the cords. Weird, tiny video without any other written instructions made setup and access totally confusing. Not worth the storage it eats.

My biggest issue was no screen rotation. I'm not able to hold my device up for more than a few minutes; without screen rotation I was left trying to find a way to prop it up without bending the headphone and charging cords. Rotating my phone rotated my camera - my clinician told me when it shifted - but my image of them stayed stubbornly in its vertical place. We gave up within minutes and switched back to Zoom.

Something that started as a minor annoyance but quickly morphed into a major obstacle was the attempt at giving instructions for how to attend my appt in the app. I need to use the app on apple device, np. Then it forces you thru a video more than 2min long which is neither accompanied nor followed by written directions. The appt reminder email wasn't exactly clear, either: I followed the link to the app store and downloaded it. I had no idea I was supposed to use the Same Link to join my session! My clinician had to email me simpler instructions when I didn't join on time.

The video may have had wonderful visuals and very helpful written instructions... if it hadn't been 2cm x 5cm. A horizontal video pane showing a vertical video on my phone?? Expand button didn't work, we already know rotating doesn't work Anywhere, video scrubbing didn't work, and as flustered as I was the only reliable place to get additional instructions was my clinician.

I'd hoped to use the app for these sessions as well as managing of all my other appts. Not worth the storage space when the browser is just fine for the rest.

Frustrating app

Would t it be nice if on the app you could see your appointments and see what’s coming up next. All this app does is connect to email and doesn’t show you anything. So frustrating.

Would have like this app to show your calendar and appointments as a practitioner . Can be use only for online appointments. Disappointing
