JokerPoker - Balala is a rogue-like deck builder card poker game.
Every round you have limited times to play or discard some cards, try to get highest score by composing your strongest hand cards!

- Improved UI: make sure you can dismiss any Card Explain details page by click top corners or anywhere outside the card view.
- Make sure playing cards in booster pack can have special edition/seal/enhancement even without PlayingCardPlus coupon in holding (e.g. that coupon will impact playing cards in directly shop though);
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Discard Boss might cause hand size less than expected.

Might be pay to win, I have a pretty good handle on it but haven’t cleared it even once yet
Close enough to the real game but with many flaws
I really enjoy Balatro, such an addictive Roguelike card based game! I recommend it, for real, probably the best game I’ve played in 2024! I wanted to find a phone alternative to play on the go and this app is the closest I’ve found, but isn’t as satisfying because of it’s many flaws.
The game balance is broken because many of the scaling cards don’t actually scale (square joker for example, it’s supposed to stack 4 chips for every hand of 4 cards you played since you bought the joker, but it just gives 4 chips total…). The difficulty is also rising quicker than in the real game, so combining these 2 elements makes the whole experience frustrating.
Then comes the UI. I don’t mind it that much, but it’s very minimalistic… just be aware if the looks is something you care about.
Then there’s text issues. Some cards just doesn’t have their effect explained, we instead see the code line. Some it’s still in a foreign Asian langage. Again, kinda kills the whole enjoyment since you’re decision becomes irrelevant.
Progression is inexistant. No decks, no new jokers to unlock, just the base game. No chips to increase difficulty (I wouldn’t anyway in the current state since scaling is flawed, but eventually would be fun).
So yeah, I still play it cause there’s nothing better for the moment to fill my Balatro craving on the go, but many flaws that needs addressing quickly to restore the balance.
A bootleg?
No instructions, not the same verbiage, and expects us to subscribe even though it’s in 0.8.1. Pretty sad for its namesake
