Description
Karbon-X is an app that caters to environmentally conscious people and businesses who wish to contribute to clean energy and eco-friendly initiatives and offset their carbon emissions. The app is free to download.
What can users do?
*Support projects from tree planting to carbon reduction projects such as ocean de-acidification
*Receive achievement badges as a way of appreciation for supporting a project
*Switch projects that you support with no changes to your Offset plan
*Attend events
*Corporations and individuals can support any carbon-reducing project
Offset Plans & Terms
With Karbon-X, users can support a range of verified projects to promote sustainability and reduce carbon footprints. Karbon-X provides a pre-determined carbon footprint calculation based on your situation and needs. The user selects an offset plan to fund an on-the-ground carbon reduction project. As a show of appreciation, a badge is given to the user. Badges are not purchased in the app. Payment is charged every month or annually and can be canceled anytime through the Web app or mobile apps. Refunds are not provided once payment has been made. Plans do not increase based on your selected project unless you change your plan to include more plan members.
