Description

Show your audience which keys you press! Keystroke Pro displays every key as you press it, and shows keycap visualizations in a stunningly elegant way on your screen in an instant. Displaying keystrokes while lecturing, sharing, and recording your screen helps your audience to follow along with ease. Keyboard shortcuts are also essential for app demos, presentations, and how-to videos. Let your audience see which keys you’re pressing, so you can focus on your actual topic.

Perfect again!!

You present you screen often!? This is the app, two suggestion tho..

* The ability to hide specific keystroke (like "function" that I use to get the zoom with the mouse with CursorPro)
* When typing a text for example, it would be nice to get an option to group the keystroke instead of showing each unique keystroke. I guess a timer to know when grouping or not would do it.
* When presenting my work on photoshop for example, I get to keep a key press for a long time, it would be nice to have the animation of the key only on "the" press instead of "when" it's pressed.

But then yeah.. it's perfect otherwise!

Windows keystrokes needed

Fantastic, graphical little app that, I think, pluses the screencasts and demos I make for my students.

But since most of them are on Windows PCs, it'd be great if there was a keystroke equivalent displayed at the same time (even optional).

This would make it perfect!

Good looking but lacking

The whole point of an app like this is to prefectly reflect the state of the pressed keys as they are. There's no reason why there should be a delay after which the displalyed key is cleared if I'm still holding the key down! Also, if I am holding a key combination and one of the keys are release, this should be reflected as such. But it's not! All in all, a complete waste of $20. @Apple: we shoudl be able to try thing before paying for them! How many such junk should I buy before one of them acutally works?

Developer Response ,

Hey bsadri – I’m sorry that the app wasn’t able to match your expectations. Most presenters do prefer a visual delay after a key is pressed. That’s helpful if you’re using keystrokes that would otherwise affect the presented app if keys are not released immediately – like you normally do. However, the app does have a setting to adjust this delay. Have you noticed that? I’m always looking for ideas on how to improve the app even further, so feel free to share your thoughts with me anytime (martin@ixeau.com). All the best, Martin
