Beautifully designed but with a serious flaw

This is the best looking computer version of Solitaire I’ve ever seen. Its difficult if you play at the top level and satisfactorily challenging. However, its scoring seems to be largely based on speed, on the fall of the cards which is luck, rather than skill. The top international scores required very little time to complete their games which seems to point to a very lucky layout. If an individual game is complex and tricky to beat and therefore requires real skill, calculation and thought which means that it takes time, then the player is penalized for not moving fast enough. Of course, one can use the slower options but then one’s scores are not accepted for the board.

You are right but its near impossible to implement what you suggest. The complexity of the game would need to be calculated somehow, and this would need to be done individually for the other solitaire games also - it might even not be possible for some of them. I hope to offer a new challenge mode someday where different players play the exact same game but its a long way from being ready at the moment.
