Description

Knotwords is a minimal and elegant logic puzzle — with words.

The rules are simple: arrange the letters in each section so every word is valid, across and down.

Each puzzle may seem difficult at first — but like all my favorite newspaper puzzles, it gets easier as you progress. Each step guides you naturally towards the solution.

This is the kind of game I've been trying to make my whole career — I'm amazed Jack and I discovered this design. We hope you like it.

Fun game and great execution

If you like word games you should definitely try this one. It’s a unique game with solid mechanics and something to do every day.

I’ve just been playing the free version and it’s really good. No ads, annoyances, or other funny business. If you don’t want to unlock the extra stuff it’s just a great game for free. Nothing to dislike about that!

Word choices are sometimes beyond obscure

Great game and definitely don’t want to miss it each day.
However, some of the word choices are clearly made by a bot that doesn’t fully understand English. Another reviewer complained about ups, but that’s OK by me. It works in the idiomatic “ups and downs.”
But today’s “amids”? The plural of a preposition? Sorry, that’s not a thing we say, write or even think.

Great Word Puzzle Game

I’ve really been enjoying the free version of this game, playing the Daily Mini and Classic games each day. Given that you can play for free is it a great way to find out if this game is for you!

If I continue to play as much as I do now I’m sure I’ll purchase as the developers deserve to be compensated for their good work.

My only gripe is the Classic games get a bit too small on an iPhone as the puzzles get bigger near the end of the week. While you can zoom in (nice touch), I’d much prefer to play these on my iPad but this game does not sync your progress across devices! (To the developers, consider this a feature request! And my reason for not a perfect 5 star review.)
