Description
L-20 Control is an app that enables wireless control of the ZOOM LIVETRAK L-20/L-20R. If a BTA-1* or other wireless adapter (sold separately) for ZOOM products is connected to an L-20/L-20R, an iPad with this app can be used as a remote controller for the L-20/L-20R.
*With a BTA-1, transmission up to 10 m is possible when used indoors without obstacles.
L-20 Control can be used at a distance from the L-20/L-20R. For example, it can be use to mix while listening from a seat in the audience, or an iPad with the app can be provided to a performer to use for monitor mixing while the engineer uses the L-20 itself to mix for the main speakers.

Pretty Neat
I can take my iPad over to the mic stand and adjust vocals. Noticed that it sometimes gets out of sync with the scene status but no big deal. I just reload the scene on the ipad.
Big wish is to be able to label the channel strips. I can’t always remember what goes with what on the app. On the actual mixer, all the channels have labels on them.
Great potential, but lots of issues in practice
I use my ipad live for set list and L-20r control. When i switch to my set list, i have to reconnect L20r when i go back. Also my bandmates lose their connection when I switch as well.
No longer works
I used it for two years but it asked to update the software, which is no longer compatible with my iPad. Why not allow loyal customers to use the L-20 WITHOUT having to buy a new iPad? Just allow us to download the old software. This is Not Fun.
