Great App!
This app is amazing! So much functionality and easy to use. It is exactly what I needed for my backwoods adventures.
Great tool for hiking navigation
I used this app when I hiked in the Dolomites. The 3D map was a lifesaver. I have a hard time translating 2D maps into real world navigation. For each segment of the hike, I dropped waypoints in Land Nav that corresponded to points in my paper map/guidebook, together the two tools gave me and my friends a lot of confidence throughout our travels… And we didn’t get lost!
Love it!
I’m kind of a newbie with these types of things so really appreciate the basic features and ease of use in the backcountry. Yesterday I was hiking on a mountain off trail and found a trail that I didn’t know existed by using Land Nav. I’ll use it also for some of my field work, which involves entering coordinates and marking locations.
