A must have for regular patients!

There seems to be some confusion with people thinking the save my spot is like an appointment. It is not the same as an appointment! Basically the app allows you to put your name in the que from home or wherever, and it will give you an ESTIMATED wait time. Show up around your estimated wait time and let the girls at the front know you’ve arrived and they will help you as soon as you’re at the top of the que. The only reason why they wouldn’t help you right away is if you showed up a bit earlier or there were appointments ahead of you. Appointments are still a priority. This app works great. Saves time for patients and for the lab tech

Hmmm okay......?

I would say get it but know this. You still have to line up and don’t bother trying to check in bc they’ll tell you to wait outside of the lab and they say they will call you. They did call me after about half an hour of lining up and I went in. There were still two people ahead of me so it saved me about ten minutes!! Fix this app bc it’s not the fault of the lab workers and yet everyone is complaining to them about it.

disapponited still ,

Unmitigated disaster- less than one star

Tried to cancel an appointment but did not have the appointments tab so I reinstalled . Got a map which eventually directed me to the lab across town. Could not get it to change or progress to the next screen to the correct lab so I’ve gone back to my original install and I guess I will rebook my appointment without cancelling the two I cannot attend. Too bad, someone else might have been able to use them.
Even with appointments, patients are asked to wait outside in a line up in the cold. Do you people not understand winter and social distancing? The whole point of an appointment is so that one does have to wait in a crowd of people- its the antithesis of infection control and social distancing. Weekends are the worst. They are super spreader events! 20-30 people! I had an appt and still waited out side at -5C and 90 km wind gusts for 45 minutes. And it will only get colder! What will you do when its -35C. Frostbite!! One lady had been waiting outside over an hour!
I realize its a pandemic and things are more difficult but you’ve had nine months to fix this and absolutely nothing has changed. Why not open more labs on the weekend. Even if they are understaffed it would spread out the lineups to more sites and at least crowding would be abated if not length of wait..
Worst app ever and you have a monopoly so we are forced to use it if we want to book appointments at all.
