Description

Line Learner helps you to learn lines as quickly and easily as you learn a catchy song.
Line Learner enables you to record scenes from plays. It allows you to listen to the full recording while you learn your part. You can then select to leave gaps in the recording for you to speak your part aloud. A prompt button is there to remind you of your line if you forget.
You can choose to repeat individual scenes, or the whole play.
With line learner you can record your script, and share it with others, who can record their lines, and share them back, giving you the ability to rehearse together even when apart.
The app allows you to load up a script in PDF or Word format and display it as you record your lines.
After you have recorded your lines you can alter the pitch of the other characters so as to more easily tell their lines apart from your own.

Essential

I am on year two with this app and it has been a game changer for me. I learn lines while doing tasks or driving. No more sitting in a room rereading line after line. I am involved in community theatre with usually one production a year. It has become my essential tool in learning lines since I purchased the app.

I’ve used this app for 4 years now and has become an essential part of my prep. I get off book from the page then let line learner play while I go about my day getting to hear and say the lines out loud. Play them over my car bluetooth on the way to set.
Have even used it as a reader in a pinch for a self tape audition.

Ignore the dated UI. This app is invaluable to any working actor. Whether it’s for a single page of dialogue or a whole script, it’s completely changed my ability to effectively learn lines. Worth every penny!
