Fun, in a weird and retro way
Good job team!
Phenomenal
It's a genuinely great game that I'm happy to support. I can only hope since it's been ported to switch that it means we'll be seeing a more robust sequel coming out sometime in the future
Something I'd love to see in a sequel would be a split screen multiplayer mode where the three directions on the dpad would determine where you aim your shot to go and the three buttons would determine when you hit it. I imagine making a multiplayer mode is a lot more complicated than what I'm picturing in my head but it would sure be fun. A sequel could also introduce a battle royale mode akin to Tetris 99 for an online aspect to it.
Great job developers!
Instructions unclear
Try as I might, I just haven’t been able to figure out how this game is supposed to work. Tap when the ball is in the box, it says - which I do, but still whiff 4 times out of 5. Sometimes holding my thumb there works; sometimes it doesn’t. Need a clearer tutorial and more obvious UI that explains why you’ve missed.
Developer Response ,
Hey! If the game restarts after the 4th volley, it actually means you've missed 3 previous hits, and after the 4th miss game restarts. Notice "phew" sound and message in the right bottom corner - it means you've missed. You can miss 3 balls before losing (3 squares at the top). And those 3 hits are made automatically by the game. Just like the tutorial in the game says, to hit the ball you have to tap on the left/center/right part of the screen when ball is in the left/center/right hitbox (3 squares under the table). It's a rhythm-based game, so listen to the beat and tap! If you have other questions, feel free to ask them here or on twitter (@seravlac).
