Subscription Information:

As part of our goal to help more pilots succeed, we offer the LogTen service completely free until you have logged more than 50 hours of total time! And with or without a subscription, you always get updates, and you always get full access to your data, where you can view, edit, generate reports, export, and print.

Pricing may vary by location (see pricing under Top in App Purchases, or right in the App in the Store section of Settings). Your subscription will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account and will automatically renew 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period, unless auto-renew is disabled beforehand. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be disabled by going to your iTunes account settings after purchase. A subscription cannot be cancelled during the active subscription period.

Awesome, but…

I think it is a wonderful app either as a starter logbook or for more experienced pilots, however the lack of flight simulator and in general instrument flying logging is conspicuous. It seems like a very big oversight for a professional app such as this one. I really hope they add the option or I might have to find another service.

We're also happy to report that it is certainly possible to log Simulator time, as well as Actual/Simulated Instrument, and IFR (as well as anything else using our 20 Custom Time Fields). Tapping on a flight, then the action button at the top-right, and selecting "Configure Fields" will allow you to customise what fields are visible and which ones aren't, your data is always saved! Near perfect

I have been using Log Ten since version 6. Every once in a while I go to the currency/limits section on the website and check to see if the app fully supports the CARs for 704 and 703 for rotary. Sadly, the app is not capable after all these years of tracking the 13 rest periods of 24 hours consecutive rest within a 90 day period still. Also for some very weird reason, sometimes the 36 hours consecutive within a 7 day period decides to not work, other times it does. Maybe one day the developers will add the 13 of 24 in 90, but so far it has been years and every time I have enquired I have been given the reply that it is in the works.
Otherwise this app, has fully replaced my logbook and I am happy with the fields available for tracking and custom selections.

Just go into history if FCView and upload each month to logten pro… now my log book is always up to date.
