Surprisingly, well-executed Manitoban app

This is an excellent app and I really like how this app gives you other options outside of the blue bin or garbage bin. I’ve learned some great recycling programs through this app.

Some confusion

I like the app however, when I talk to the office, I’m told that you will except soft plastic numbered 1 to 7. However, when you look at the app it tells you absolutely no soft plastic. It is a little confusing.

Thanks for reaching out. Soft plastic and film is not accepted for recycling in Manitoba. The reason being is that these items get tangled up in the machinery at the recycling facility.

Good try but not quite there

Not a user friendly app. If the barcode of the product or item could be scanned, it would make it much better. Unless you match the exact name in the App Library it often will not show the correct products.
