Upgrade doesn’t work

I upgraded to their new fancy app before a passage in the South Pacific. Tested it before leaving and all was good. When I got to Tonga to do the passage and opened the App again. I had lost all my charts and the App won’t let me restore my purchases or download the required maps from the area. I’ve contacted Navionics for help and I was told to ‘try again’.

Additional cost?

I have used Navionics faithfully over the last several years...I been asked/ prompted to transfer my existing Navionics US & Canada App to the new Navionics Boating Marine & Lakes.

When I continued to transfer over to the New Navionics, a pop up said the charge has been successful?
I have already paid for the old Navionics,
I also have both Apps currently on the phone that look exactly the same...am i being charged for two?

If you are trying to renew a subscription through the older version of the app (12.1) then you will receive an error since the app has been discontinued and purchases are disabled through this title.

If you are trying to purchase a new chart coverage area or Navionics+ subscription renewal in the new version of the app that you have migrated to (now version 13.4), and you are receiving the message, “Purchase could not be completed. Your account has not been charged,” or "Transaction Failed," you may have this option turned off within your device. Please check your device settings located under: Settings > Screen Time and tap Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > In-app Purchases > select Allow.

Not user friendly

Hard to use on a phone, in a boat. Each swipe or tap seemed to result in a new page or request for update feature purchase. Sorry I bought it.

We apologize for the delay in responding, and are sorry to hear that you are regretting your purchase. You may need to adjust your settings on your device to decrease the touch screen sensitivity in order to avoid opening pages unintentionally. Banner ads are a normal occurrence that can be easily closed out of, but if you are receiving prompts to pay for a subscription when you have already purchased one, we can investigate further and offer resolution.
