Ratings and Reviews
Good when it works,
but mostly it doesn't work. Great for reading on the iPad, annotations work well too. The problem is that the majority of the time it completely freezes up when opening and seems to get stuck syncing forever. No idea what the problem is, but it's unusable most of the time
Reporting a bug
Hello Mendeley developers there is a weird bug in you app. Let me explain it that u can see it yourself.
First open an article and highlight some words or lines.
Second press the home button
Third select Mendeley from background applications and look at your highlighted things.
Each time you do this the highlights are redrawn again and again and the highlight colours become darker and darker.
I guess you have to change this redraw command to run just one time 😂😂😂
And yes I’m an Engineer
Thank me later 😁
Mendeley driving me mentally
When I first downloaded Mendeley it had the function of block highlighting, somewhere in all the updates, the took out this feature.
And in my iPad app it creates replicates of a single document, when I tried to delete the spares, it deletes all the digital copies on my account.
When I use it on my desktop, it refreshes and deletes my notes that I’m working on, mid comment, without saving it.
This has happened to me so many times and it pisses me off every time. Can there be an option to stall any automatic saving, and just be done manually?!
I love the idea, but there are still kinks to work out.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
