Good magazine, horrible customer service

Great magazine, but any time I have had a download issue or billing issue the experience has been a horrible disaster in trying to get issues solved. MJ has dismisses all accountability and responsibility.

They don’t update their magazines

I have a subscription through iTunes. The latest edition is not available (April 2020). I contacted the help desk for the app, they told me to contact the publisher. I contacted the publisher help desk, they read from a script that said nothing about subscriptions through iTunes. I contacted Apple, they told me to contact the app developer. No one is responsible and looks like I paid for a subscription for nothing.

Can't download issues

I can't download any issues. Follow their steps to restore and it doesn't work. Have sent them an email and have not received any response.
