Description
Forward thinking. Intelligent. Accurate. There are a TON of weather apps out there that simply offer weather data and radar. MetaWeather takes it a step further:
- All of the standard elements of a weather app- radar, alerts, current data, 100 hours and 10 day outlooks
- Generative AI forecasts that are simple to read and understand
- Themes, custom app icons, home screen widgets, rearrangeable content... customization galore!
- A frequently updated blog with relevant weather headlines
- Accurate data from Apple Weather, laid out in a beautiful, unique fashion
Everyone on Earth— from the USA to Europe to Africa and beyond— has been keep in mind. We support global locations and custom units for temperature, speed, visibility, and measurement. The blog focuses on global weather headlines. Radar is supported worldwide.
This isn’t just your standard weather app. Our goal is not to compare- it is to contrast. This is a unique experience designed for the mid-2020s and beyond. Forward thinking. Simply. Powerful.

Metric
I like your program BUT I want to have it in METRIC.
Developer Response ,
On the settings page you can change units (at the bottom of the page). Hope this helps!
Tons of info
This app provides every possible aspect of weather information that is available. Admittedly, t’s not quite 5 stars, as I found the interface cumbersome to navigate. Dev needs some testers to comment on the UI. If you can’t find setting for temp/distance etc, go to the settings page and SCROLL. They’re offscreen at the bottom on my SE. Pastel colours pervade the screen and there’s not much to differentiate the different fields of information; eg. the same colour is used for “today’s temps” blocks, graphs for hourly temps, a scrolling line of subjective weather assessments (like “It is not humid right now”), and sunrise/sunset. It’s also a lot of scrolling. Main screen is 2-1/2 pages long on my SE. Within that are more vertical scroll fields and swipe left/right fields as well. All the bar graphs have no axes of reference, so they really don’t mean much unless you take the time to make the references in your head, which pretty much negates the usefulness of an easy-to-read bar graph.

Developer Response ,
Update 2.1.7 addresses the location management issue. As for asking for location every time… I will look into that and get a fix, thanks for mentioning
