The “Basic” version of MindMeister is free. You can try the “Personal” plan free for 1 week after signing up! If you enjoy your “Personal” trial, do nothing and your membership will automatically continue as an auto-renewing month-to-month subscription.
If you subscribe via iTunes: Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan above.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings on the device.
If you haven’t subscribed through iTunes, you can manage your subscription through MindMeister.

The app is pretty good. It lacks some of the functionality of the web version. Still mapping is really easy which is what I like best about the app.

I paid for this app and now this “upgrade” voids the purchase, forcing me into a subscription. I hate you. I’m cancelling all product services I have with you including Meister Task.

Good but not perfect

There’s lots to love here — mind maps are pretty easy to create and export. But? But the iPad version needs to support Apple Pencil for drawing and writing. Using the onscreen keyboard or needing to add a separate Bluetooth keyboard is a pain.
Great Value; Decided to Move from Free to Paid Subscription

Use Mindmeister primarily for my writing and online business and love it.Recently, I was asked to do a Family Tree for my mother-in-law’s Celebration of Life. I was able to add a picture of Mom’s picture to the Family Tree.I had this Mindmeister product blown up into poster size and individual handouts. The funeral home told me in all of the thousands of events they handled they had never seen such a unique and beautiful tribute like this.Give the free version a try and you will find this reasonably price-productive product worth the price.Rick
