Close to perfection

Lots of fun to be had in this one. Fun weapons and upgrades, busy chaos during the levels. There are a few tweaks that would make the experience better. In no particular order:
1. There should be a bigger prize for finishing the level. Persistent character upgrades would be one idea, and another element that is missing from the game, but then, I have no idea how you keep a game like this balanced!
2. Weapons should always target the closest enemy. Sometimes an enemy wanders up to me while my weapons are tracking another one far away.
3. Explain upgrades in more detail. For example, what specifically does armour do?
4. Related to number 3: I understand upgrades that are in percentages, but all the others that are just in units I feel confused about. I want to know how my strategic build decisions affect my character.

I love tracking all my stats as my player gets stronger, and it’s fun discovering how powerful some weapons can become.

Consider adding weapon synergy bonuses.

I like how the premium currency of gems is handled. In most games I’m saving up for months to buy a super chest - here I am spending them on fun upgrades all the time. Excellent!
