Description

Moom allows you to easily move and zoom windows—on one display, or to another display—using either the mouse or the keyboard. Moom lets you...

• Hover over the green button and choose from five preset size/location options in a pop-up palette
• Use a grid to 'draw' a window's desired size and location
• Define custom controls to move and zoom, move to other display, center, resize, and more
• Chain custom controls together to execute complex window management tasks
• Save window layouts to easily recreate a desired window arrangement at any time
• Automatically activate saved window layouts on changes in monitor layout, as in when you disconnect from your work display and then open your laptop at home
• Use keyboard mode to do all of this, and more, without ever touching a mouse

Once you've tried Mooming your windows, you'll never go back to simply moving and zooming them again.

What’s New

Version 3.2.26

• Moom will no longer generate a macOS permissions request about accessing data from other apps. (This only affected users using third-party desktop image apps.)
• Improved error logging to help diagnose issues Moom may have when interacting with other apps.
• Moom's pop-up menu now works when the LanguageTool app is running.

Great for managing different workflows that require various apps and window sizes to be efficient!

I've been using Moom on both an Intel MBP running Big Sur, and an M1 MBP with Monterey.

Since moving to a single ultrawide from a dual 16:9 setup, I found it more of a hassle to manage my windows with other window apps that only let you control one window at a time.

I know there are other apps out there that let you create layouts for multiple windows, but Moom lets you make custom layouts by taking snapshots your window placement which makes customization extremely easy to do on the fly.

It's perfect if you have multiple workflows where each workflow may require a different set of apps and window sizes to be efficient in what you're doing.

No Idea What People Area Saying

If I had read the recent reviews from acraze, angry bird launcher I might have not purchased Moom. However, I have owned boom for some time, bought a brand new mini, am in the process of setting it up. The second application I setup, right after Synergy, was moon. It works perfectly. I use Moom mainly for window control on an ultrawide 35" monitor. "Move & Zoom" that feature works perfect no problem. I haven't tried it with sidecar yet, but too all those that wonder. It works. Not sure what to say about their "re-install" notes, other than, on a fresh system, fresh install, it works perfect. Thanks Moom team.

indispensable

This is one of those great little apps that you don't appreciate until you use a machine that doesn't have it installed.

Totally worth buying!
