Listen to member-supported Minnesota Public Radio anywhere you go with the MPR Radio app. With this app you can stream the live broadcasts from MPR News, Classical MPR, and The Current and additional streams such as Radio Heartland, Local Current, Rock the Cradle, and Choral Stream.
The MPR radio app connects with Apple Watch and CarPlay compatible vehicles allowing you to select, play and pause streams. Other features include high-quality stream audio, alarm, sleep timer, geo-located weather along with Airplay and Chromecast integrations.

The current is a great radio station, so that's a big plus for this app. Also it does connect to Sonos so I use this app more often now that the Sonos one has become so messed up. Its main bug is that the song listing stops updating after one or two song so you have to close the app and reboot it to actually know what's playing.
Great content but app drains battery
I listen to Classical MPR every morning and I highly recommend, but unfortunately I discovered that this app was emptying my phone’s battery on iOS.
Great
I have not had one problem with this app. I listen to NPR (usually out of Detroit) whenever I can & I love getting it on my 'phone' now. One of the best apps I have. Cheers.
