Mushroom Id has been created by professional published ecologists, and uses images selected with the specific aim of aiding identification. Anatomical, ecological and taxonomic information is also included.

Mushroom Id can be used to keep a log of your fungi sightings making it easy to build a record of all the species you've seen.

Good photos .. useful .. text .. well done

Sucks

I live in the boreal plain ecozone of Canada and there no relatable material. Besides that, there library is small. Not worth it!

Mushroom identification

I enjoyed this app in the beginning but was disappointed when I found several mushrooms with only one picture in one stage of its growth. I can at the very least describe in the detail section of the app the different stages of a mushroom. It's database needs to updated as I found several mushrooms not in the App.
