I Don't Trust This Thermostat

On more than one occassion I have adjusted the settings via the IOS app, to have the thermostat display the changes, but the furnace doesn't start.

Other times, I have had the app on my phone read old expired holds, and a few server errors.

I live in Northern Ontario and to have a furnace rendered off when you adjust the temperature from a remote location expect could be catastrophic.

I am not sure if the fault is with the app or the physical thermostat but I will not use this app to change furnace settings. To dangerous.
