In our effort to protect patients please download the new MyHealth Centre mobile app to skip our clinic reception line and waiting room. Once you arrive at our clinic, you can use the app to check-in for your appointment by scanning our QR code, and a member of our team will send you an SMS message when we’re ready to see you.
You can also upload documents, such as your doctor’s requisition form, and chat with our staff via SMS message.

The app asks for OHIP card at the beginning and if you don’t have OHIP you can’t use the app.

What garbage.

I have the app already installed but instead of removing it you just develop a second piece of garbage? So now I have 2 pieces of your garbage on my phone. Neither of which are slightly useful in any way.

On this current app I enter my mobile phone number and it says my “mobile number is invalid”. Huh? It’s the only number I’ve had for 25 years. I know my own number.

The point of having a health provider app/portal is mostly to:

1. Access your appointments
2. Get your medical reports and results

Both of those features are currently not active (it shows ‘coming soon’ message)

So until those are actually part of the app, not sure how this app can be of any use.
