No help documentation for addons
Having to pay extra for features like filter/sort and tagging is annoying but exacerbated by having no documentation on how to use the capability. Didn’t get any better when I tried to submit a help request and had the email rejected Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender

We switched our domain nearly a year back but kept the redirection on until the beginning of this year. Just make sure to write to Nest Egg Support via the in-app mechanisms or via the web site contact page (https://nestegg.cloud/contact) to reach support.That will get you to the right email alias.

I just purchased this app for $6.99USD (which for me will need to be converted to CDN) as an upgrade from the Lite version, and after being in the upgraded app for 5 minutes I have to say I’m very disappointed in it and wish I were able to reverse the transaction. What is not made clear to you when upgrading is that a good majority of the apps features and benefits are add-on costs over and above the, already overpriced, base fee of $6.99. In fact, 5 out of 6 features (attachments, tagging, sorting, uploading via CSV file, and the ability to have a passcode) are not included and you must pay more money in order to activate each one that you want. Furthermore, the description mentions being able to share your data amongst multiple devices, which was also appealing to me as that way everyone in the family would be able to access and update the inventory in real time ... nope, think again. Another extra charge. By the time you finish paying for every upgrade to get features that would usually be considered standard, you’ll be out at least $20. For me, the price, coupled with the underlying slyness the developers have shown in the way they have set up this multi-tiered cash grab just aren’t worth it.

Thank you for the review. Please consider returning Nest Egg by contacting Apple. Should Apple deny your request, please write to us so we can send you a refund.
That said, the review has several apparent inaccuracies. All Canadian purchases are in Canadian Dollar (CAD), and we do not sell Nest Egg at $6.99 USD. So not sure how you were able to purchase this for $6.99 USD in the Canadian App Store. Also not sure what currency CDN is; it is not a currency defined by ISO 4217 either.
Regarding sharing of data between devices, it is achieved through backup/restore mechanisms which do not involve any in-app upgrades. The step by step instructions around how to do this are in the help area (More->Support->Help) of Nest Egg.
Regarding in-app upgrades, in addition to in-app upgrade markers in the App Store description, we have a footnote in the US App Store that says "N.B. Some features described may be in-app purchases." at the bottom of the description area. (The Canadian App Store would have this in French of course.) The listing of in-app upgrades can also be found in (a) App Store listing in-app purchases area under the Information sub-heading (b) App Store listing under In-app Purchases sub-heading as featured upgrades (c) in the app main menu in both Nest Egg Lite and Nest Egg (d) on our site in a side-by-side feature comparison matrix between Nest Egg Lite and Nest Egg. So again not sure where you found the "underlying slyness". We are transparent about our pricing, and a reasonable customer will not make the conclusions you make above.
Finally, our pricing is more than fair for the value Nest Egg offers. All purchases are one-time upgrades. And even if you made all of the 6 in-app upgrades in CAD, it would add up to CA$6.99 + CA$1.39*6 = CA$15.33, not the $20 total stated above. Most of our users choose to purchase what they need and so they appreciate the option to customize Nest Egg to just what they want. Calling this a "multi-tiered cash grab" is a bit too dramatic, don't you think?
Keep track of your items
A great piece of app that allow you to keep trCk all your items, even borrow lists, add photos, categories, barcodes and so on.
I tried several apps, and none was exactly what I was looking for. The name of the app was not very appealing in the first place, but I gave a try and i bought the pro version, and remove all the others apps I tried.
Try it, you’ll love it.
