As a very big Nintendo fan, all of the features of this app easily beat any other service that plays Nintendo music. You can extend timers which is one of my favourite features, it shows that the developers at Nintendo really put effort into this and cared about the product. The app runs smoothly, and also is very easy to use.

Why is Nintendo launching one album a week, Nintendo has thousands and thousands, maybe even into the 6 figures, of games under their belt!Why do we have to wait an indefinite amount of time for that one soundtrack that we want, or a handful of them!I can understand at first if things were slow to get going, but it’s been a month and we just got brain age… i’m sure there are a not zero number of fans of the brain age sound track But at this rate I’ll be in my 80s before the handful of games I wanna see added actually get added! And I honestly don’t expect Nintendo to keep up this service that long! One album a week is 52 games a year! The NES had 1300 games alone!Either they gotta pick up the pace or you can forget ever hearing anything you want to hear from this paid service! This is a paid streaming service not DLC, you don’t have to slowly creep it out over the life span of the service! Look at Disney plus, the majority of Disneys back log was ready to go the day the service launched! We shouldn’t be waiting every week for the possibly of our favourite sound track getting passed up for chibi robo ziplash or links crossbow training

Firstly, I feel like songs should be added at a more faster rate, or at least maybe the app should’ve just started with more songs to begin with. I’ve been waiting to get Pokémon black and White so I can listen to Driftveil City, but I know it’s going to be months before it’ll come out at this rate.Secondly, the app has a lot of playlist related bugs. There was one time when I was on a plane and the app randomly deleted all my playlists, and after connecting to wifi, (which for some reason wouldn’t even let me in the app) and turning it off, they were back. It’s also difficult if you don’t have wifi and you’re listening to a playlist that has some songs not downloaded, and when I play a song that isn’t downloaded, nothing plays, and I’m not allowed to play anything else unless I restart the app. And, now, since I’ve been recently using the app, whenever I try to look through My Music, it just says “Could not load data”, and no matter what I do despite my wifi being perfectly fine, I can’t get it to work, meaning I can no longer look through my playlists, unless they are in my recently played. And thirdly, the app doesn’t have any personality. I can’t customize my playlists, I can’t change my theme, there’s no Nintendo flair, and I can say even apps like Apple Music have more personality than this. It makes me sad that as the years go by Nintendo consoles have been a lot less charming. The Nintendo Switch feels so corporate and I miss the old charm consoles like the Wii had. Why isn’t there any menu music? I miss it so much.Overall the app isn’t bad, but I feel like it’s just not good either. I just feel like the main issue is it’s really buggy. (Ps, where’s the Animal Crossing Happy Home Paradise soundtrack?)
