Description
Showcasing the beauty of Nixie tubes that were used from the 1950's and are still available until today.
Nixie tubes use layered vacuum tubes to show digits and have a characteristic orange glow. Nixie Calculator provides basic arithmetic functions consistent with the original devices - with a few modern additions.
You can make it easy to launch as a Menu bar item by enabling this in Settings/Preferences.
The calculator displays a paper tape line that has a very clear format to show your calculations .
A Paper Tape list can also be opened to show and reuse your calculations. This list has options such as selecting and filtering favourites to help you organise.
There are many other features and a wide number of settings and preferences available.
You can unlock use of Color Layouts with a purchase in settings/preferences.
Please enjoy this calculator that combines one of the first display technologies with state of the art in PC technology.

nice calculator. the only thing is there should be a place when you are doing a running calcultion there should be a place to edit and name the deduction?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look at including a way to name entries in the paper tape.
*** v1.61 that has just been released now has the feature to edit and name paper tape entries.
