Difficult to setup
I wanted to be able to purchase metro passes for myself and my family and have them on one device. That does not seem to be possible with this app and i needed to setup two different accounts - an RTA and a UAE Pass - just to get tot the point where it would let me purchase a personalized pass, which then could only be used by me. This is not an efficient way for families to use the Metro system. So instead we are buying multiple paper tickets for rides, which is worse for the environment as well. The app has potential but needs more thought put into how it functions.
Can’t read after update
I’ve used the app to read and top up my card in the past with the latest update it’s not possible anymore. The app was not able to detect my card as I can’t understand if I place the card correctly. It failed after a short time out every time.
