Really fun!
The core of the game is super fun and I really like that there is zero ads or IAP that can be used to get an upper hand (wouldn’t mind seeing IAP for professional skins but thats it). Especially since Pay-to-win systems are so common in this card-based genre. Anyway, highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fast-paced and skillful strategy experience.
I do have a small gripe with the game however. It drains battery reeeally fast. Like no other game I’m currently playing. 23% in 45 minutes is what my settings are saying. I imagine this will get better as updates come out but currently a bit annoying.
Other developers should pay attention!
Here are some neat things that Nova Island does that every other developer should learn from, and you don’t even need to know anything about the game. Number one, their news announcements are actually clear and useful! They explicitly say: here’s what we’re buffing, here’s what we’re nerfing, and here’s what we’re adjusting. Why can’t every game developer do that when they put out a new version? Another really neat thing is the spectate option, which lets you view the top players as they battle each other for the competitive top spots. You can see plainly what cards they use and what combinations they pull off. Really useful, and it takes away the mystery that exists in almost every other game with ranked battle systems. really cool features that other developers should learn from! Great game, nice art, cool music, smart developers!
AMAZING UI AND GAMEPLAY
I cannot stress how much the UI is a big deal to me, this day and age it feels like all games just copy supercell but this game truly feels different, it has a very modern fresh techy type yo and the gameplay feels very original as well, very fun to boast, keep up the great work can’t wait for content updates 👍
