“I adore olio’s idea of sharing extra food! Simple to use and facilitate neighbor connection. My only complaint is that there aren’t many listings in my area. This app would be ideal with more users and listings.”

"OLIO is revolutionizing community-driven sustainability initiatives. It's simple to use and makes it easy to share extra food with your neighbours. Seeing food being utilized to its utmost rather than going to waste is comforting. Although the idea is fantastic, it would have a larger impact if more people in rural regions participated. An absolute must-try for anybody hoping to reduce food waste in any way.

OLIO : Bridging gaps in Food Wastes

OLIO app provides a promising solution to tackle food waste by connecting neighbours to share their surplus items. The app’s user friendly interface simplifies listing and browsing available items.However,the limited listings in my area were disappointing, hampering my search for specific items. Although OLIO aided in reducing some food waste from my pantry, it could improve by expanding listings and adding features for user engagement. Enhancing availability and diversity of items would boost effectiveness. In conclusion, OLIO has potential, and I’ll keep using it , hoping for enhancements that better serve users and communities.
