Turn based tactics, with a decent level of customization

Think MechWarrior but turn based and you’ll have a good idea of what to expect. (And if you know what Solaris VII is you’ll have an even better idea).
You fight a series of battles, in your fully customizable mech, working your way up the ranks with each fight getting harder and harder.
The game seems pretty simple when you get the hang of it, and fights are pretty quick, it’s a good game to pick up, do a couple fights and put down. I’m still fairly early but I hope it get’s a little more challenging later on.

They incentivize you to write a review after a certain point for a few credits, but I think the game deserves a review regardless. I’ve never played any other games from this developer however it’s got quite a bit of charm to it that makes me interested in what else they’ve done.

Too easy tactically, at least let me skip the slow text

A fun, cheap tactical arena game with upgrades and a cool 8 bit aesthetic. However it’s too slow for the simplicity of its tactical gameplay. If you just stick with light chassis, max the anti-armor gun, and upgrade, you’ll easily dodge in cases where you can’t move out of range of an attack, or cancel their attack. I haven’t been hit once for like 12 battles. It’s not as tactical as chess, your planning is based on what you can do in a single turn (3 action points). For such a simple game, which isn’t a major issue, I’m going to want to burn through the battles. The slow text scroll, which is repeated every time, like when you head to the shop, same slow text every time, makes me want to skip and the slow launch makes me want to stop playing after a battle. Just do what every jrpg for forever does, let me touch to skip the scroll and just show the text! Also, and take this for what you want, the “extra” bar content has a strange and out of nowhere virtue signal thing going on that’s just odd to see someone put in here. What’s the point? It’s meaningless yet obvious and feels like something inserted to get some checkbox for a mobile game submission. Just stream line your game and improve the game AI. It’ll routinely point in the opposite direction… makes waiting for that launch text pointless, just award me the win instead of wasting my time.
