Ratings and Reviews
On cue
App is easy to use and useful for monitoring operating time. Very disappointing that they removed the power monitoring feature.
Not a modern app
This app is prehistoric, outdated and doesn't provide any control on the generator.
-You can't start or stop the generator from the app when there is a power outage. Ridicoulous!
-You can't change the state of the generator by putting it on Stop or Auto or Run from the app
-You can't update the generator's firmware from the app
-You can't choose to run the generator for a test from the app
What is the app for? Very disappointed with my 17K purchase. The G competition offer a muche better app and more control on the generator than Kohler does.
I promise to change my review and give 5 stars if my review is considered and the app gets updated with more useful functions.
Good Vendor App - Missing functionality
The app is clear and easy to navigate. You can view more data about the generator than you may want, however the controls and configuration are extremely limited. You can start and stop the unit (loaded or unloaded) and you can schedule the weekly test. It will send notifications to your email address & text msg when it’s starts and when it stops. Integration to Ring and other major alarm system, HomeKit, Alexa…. would be extremely useful when you are away from home.
