Description
Fight the social media algorithms and win back control over your social media usage & your subconsciousness!
“one sec” forces you to take a deep breath whenever you open one of the configured websites or apps (Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, Instagram,…). This breaks unconcious social media habits short-term (literally, as soon as you have set it up) and even helps long-term by adding more friction when opening these websites and apps.
Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention on the present: Did you really want to open Instagram?
This app helps you to reflect your actions, thoughts, and feelings; disrupting harmful social media habits with mindfulness.

Ratings and Reviews
Love the app But waiting on premium because…
Love this app, 9/10 times when i’m opening instagram without meaning too (out of habit/boredom,etc) I don’t want to sit through the 6 seconds and close it. Awesome!!! Does what it’s supposed to do.
However the one fault I have noticed (and not really a problem with the app but more with me) and the reason I’m not buying premium yet; is that when I do have the app open (either from that 1/10 time where I did sit through, Or I had opened the app with the intent to respond to a message etc), I think subconsciously I will spend longer on the app then I need to because I already have it open and I know how long it takes to open so I don’t wanna have to wait and reopen it later so instead I just stay on it? So when I it stops me from opening it works, but once I have it open I think I stay on longer (kinda like revenge scrolling).
Again an issue with me not the app! If there was some way to mitigate this issue I would definitely be purchasing premium! Maybe the an option to have the app force close every few minutes? Or when you turn off your phone the app makes you redo the wait screen time? I’m not sure!
But a fantastic app thank you:)
Super application
C'est fou comment une pause de 10 secondes avant d'ouvrir une application de reseaux social peux annuler l'envie d'y aller. Cette app à réduire mon temps d'écran de beaucoup !!!
Too slow to trigger automation
I love the idea of this app, but it just doesn’t work as intended. I have the free version set up with Instagram, and it lets me have Instagram open for roughly 2-5 seconds before it pops up with the breathing intervention. This defeats the whole point as then I’ve already got a glimpse of things I want to continue looking at, and it’s annoyed the heck out of me by jolting me back and forth. Very frustrating.
