The App I've been searching for

I've been looking for an app like this for a long... long time. After just 2 days on the trial version, I've subscribed for the year.

More so, the subscription fee is fair. So often you'll find a app that promises a lot but priced so ridiculously it just isn't worth it -- The Opus One certainly is! I'm a big fan!

Best electronic replacement to Franklin Covey planners

I started using the Franklin Covey paper planners over 20 years ago. When PADs become popular, I installed the FC apps for the Palm and integrated that with my daily planning. When FC came out with the Outlook add-on (PlanPlus for Outlook) I switched to this and had been using it since it’s early days until today. Unfortunately FC dropped support for the Outlook extension and so it’s been buggy and problematic since Outlook 2010.

FINALLY I came across Opus One!! This looks, feels and acts just like an electronic version of my old planner. And the best thing is that it works on Mac, Ipad and iPhone!! I’ve purchased the one year of Premium sync service - which is half the price of a FC Planplus software ugprade and much less than a paper planner refill for a year. So far so good!

Only downside is that it only works on Mac and iOS - I need to use a Windows 10 PC at the office. But I carry my iPad and iPhone so I’ll see have access to Daily Tasks and Notes which are estential on-the-go.

One fault I did find is that the “Undo” feature is limited. I created a Checklist in a task Note and accidently deleted the checklist. Undo wasn’t able to bring it back :( Note to developers - when you have instant updates (not requiring a Save) and a Sync feature that propogates your mistake everywhere - make sure your Undo feature works! This is the only reason I limited the review to 4 of 5 stars.

So far VERY impressed with this software. Hope the developers keep supporting this for years to come!!

Much Better Than FC Online

Feb 4 2023 Update: Well, no matter what else I have on my computer, such as BusyCal and Focus Matrix, Opus One NEVER FAILS to sync across my devices. Plays well with other probrams.
Got sick of FC Online seven years ago and went to Opus Domini. Then to the next version, Opus One. Stuck with them when they changed to subscription. What a difference the subscription payment model has made! Piso 13 listens to their users and now can afford constant upgrades. And they upgrade a lot. You should buy this on the montlly and then upgrade to yearly to get a discount, when you see all Opus One can do. Trouble free syncing with Calendar on a Mac, Calendar on iPhone, and Calendar on iPad. Opus One has seamless syncing between iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
