J’adore! Facile d’utilisation et grande flexibilité. J’aime pouvoir ajouter des notes et des rappels par élément. J’aime pourvoir créer plusieurs listes différentes. Répond totalement à mes besoins et en plus en français. Merci! L’achat du package premium vaut vraiment la peine.

Good simple app... But please, come back to « Lean »

A good app and greater potential, but I am not sure it is evolving in a good way.

The app was simple to use.

But the last versions added complexity without bringing any real benefit for the user.

For the short term, I will continue to use free the app because of its potential.

Depending on next versions, I will reevaluate and decide between going to Premium or delete the app.

The cons are:

1) 3 almost identical apps (of the same developer) co-exist: List Maker, Grocery List and Packing List.

The only differences are:
- 1 different set of « Suggested items » per app: Anyway, these default items have little value since you will probably end with creating your own items.
- only 1 app gets updates: I guess... Too bad if you paid Premium for a wrong one.

I do not want to pay for Premium and eventually discover that another app will appear and get all updates.

Only 1 app should exist. « List maker » is obviously the better name since it does not refer to a niche.

2) Do not understand the purpose of splitting a lists between « To-pack » and « To-do »:
- No obvious value
- Very confusing from the user experience point-of-view (i.e. 2 lists in 1 list)
- Could not find a way to switch off that feature
- Could not find a way to rename « To-pack » to something more neutral
- Purposeless waste a space at the bottom of the screen.

3) It should be possible to add items directly to a list (i.e. Category should be optional).

Thanks for your feedback.

Could you please give me some examples of how the last versions added complexity without benefit? We believe that our latest updates improve the app while keeping its ease of use, but I'd like to get examples so we can improve.

1) We've created Packing List, Grocery List and List Maker with different use cases in mind. We believe that having separate apps for each use case adds more value to end users, instead of creating 1 generic app for all possible use cases. Since we are only 2 people working on 4 different apps, it is hard to update all of them with the same frequency but we continue development in all of them.

2) To-pack is meant for things you want to bring with you for the trip. To-do, on the other hand, lists things you need to accomplish before or during the trip. It's not for everyone, of course, but many of our users see the value in this separation, and here's a comment from a user:
"I love the categories, that keeps my list organized so it all makes sense. And I love the to do list! We all need to remember to empty the trash and turn off the coffee pot before we leave, right?! "

3) This has been suggested before and we are thinking about it. Meanwhile you can create a "Various" category and place all the things that you don't want to place in a category there.
