Ratings and Reviews
Close to perfect
This app is very close to perfect, with one exception. There are a few things that could be improved upon, such as being able to change the default colors and remove ones like yellow that I will never use and replace it with a custom color. I really hope the developer does not cave to those who complain about the lack of some functions. This apps niche is right in its name Penjo. This isn’t goodnotes and I would not want it to be. I have however stopped using the app for the time being due to what I see as its biggest weakness. You can not export an entire notebook as a PDF, you can only export individual days. This leads to a massive disorganized backup folder if , like me you have to make daily backups of the entire notebook. The developer has said this feature is coming soon, at which time I will resume using it, until then I have to deal with goodnotes god awful swipe for new page. One of Penjo’s strongest features is the infinite scroll page.

Thank you for your review and insights. It’s great to hear that you value Penjo's unique approach and infinite scroll feature. Regarding the color customization, I understand the limitations with the default colors in the pencil tool picker can be frustrating. Penjo currently uses Apple's tool picker, and unfortunately, it is not customizable at this time. We hope Apple will introduce this feature soon, and we appreciate your feedback on this matter.
We are also excited to announce that with the next major release, Penjo will support exporting entire journals or selected date ranges to PDF. This should greatly improve your experience with managing backups.
