Crashes often especially in search mode.

Immediately on setting up a Acct they want your Phone number. No thanks.
Its News App. WHY ??

I like it already

After my first hour of use, I like everything about Gawk. Its design, its self-curated content, and its menu functions. (and note, it only asked for my email address, NOT my phone number). Signed, a paid subscriber to a dozen newspapers & mags.
