You have preset ultrasound frequencies that work well for rats, moles, snails, bugs and lots of insects.
If you would like to chose your own ultrasound frequency, you can check out or other apps available on the app store.
Try to keep the phone/tablet speaker pointed in the direction that you want to be clear from pests. If you have a large garden, it is recommended to use at least 2 devices to cover a larger area.
If you have home pets, try to keep them away from the ultrasound frequencies or study how they react to them just in case it might affect them also.

Mouse
I heard a mouse scratching on the inside of my wall. I have had many months with a mouse problem but I finally got rid of them. So when I heard on scratching in the wall I got the app. So after I turned it on for rats I put the phone on the floor and in less than a minute the sound stopped. It is a good app. Thank you
Works but there is a sound every 11 seconds or so
There is a shuffling sound on the rat repeller every 11 seconds or so, making it impossible to keep this on and concentrate on anything else. However, it did seem to work immediately with rodents in the walls.
