Control your hearing aids discreetly with the touch of a finger

Philips HearLink 2 provides you with discreet, improved control over your hearing aids – so you can personalize your listening experience for any environment, find your hearing aids if they become lost, get remote support from your hearing care professional when you need it, and much more.

The Philips HearLink 2 App is compatible with all Philips Bluetooth® hearing aids. However, some app features may require a specific hearing aid model or a firmware update. Please consult your hearing care professional for assistance with firmware updates.

With Philips HearLink 2, you can:

• Adjust the volume of your hearing aids and various settings (e.g. remote microphone, noise reduction, and sound and streaming equalizer)
• Switch between predefined programs according to the different listening situation you are in
• Monitor your battery levels
• Help you find your hearing aids if you lose them
• Use your device as a remote microphone and get better access to the voice of another speaker in noisy environments
• Customize your surrounding sounds with the sound equalizer
• Set and track hearing aid wear-time goals with the Philips Journal feature
• Use the streaming equalizer for a personalized listening experience. The streaming equalizer is available for all Philips HearLink Bluetooth hearing aids except Philips HearLink 2000 and 3000
• Have your hearing aids adjusted and receive counseling from the comfort of your own home – via a live video call with your hearing care professional
• Handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids; control multiple TV Adapters or devices, such as AudioClip, which can be used both for streaming and as a remote microphone

For optimal performance and access to the latest features, we recommend using the latest version of iOS.

Frustrating

They worked great for a while, I could easily switch between my phone and iPad by just turning off the Bluetooth connection to either one of them. Now it won’t connect to either. I removed the app and reinstalled it. Done that 3or 4 times now. It also told me to turnoff hearing aid then back on or put on charger, done that as well, but it won’t go to Next, it keeps on going back to “put in charger” or “turn off for 3 seconds and then on” given up now. I tried for 2 days. I don’t need all the frustration and stress at my age or for that matter at any age

Good but limited

I haven’t had any of the connection issues others have reported. App has been stable and is easy to navigate. The interface isn’t clunky or difficult to navigate.
But
It doesn’t do much. Volume control. Switch programs. Updates firmware. Minor eq controls.
What I’d like it to do:
Let me enable programs (there are like 12 custom programs like music mode, voice in noise, etc…). Why does the audiologist only have access to these? I should be able to add/remove those programs.
I’d also like the ability to program my own hearing aids. I’d like the ability to tinker and save it as a custom setting. It’s going to always revert back to defaults so I can’t mess my hearing aids up doing this.
Give me control over which microphones are active! Please! I’d love to be able to only enable the front directional microphones and disable the omnidirectional/side microphones. In certain settings the side microphones really hamper me. At the office I do not need to hear what’s going on next door- but I need to hear what’s going on right in front of me.
What about either an in app help section on how to change the domes or clean the mic’s or change the wax filter? Even if it just launched a browser and took you to a webpage with the tutorial on it.
Please- the battery life indicator- can that be made a little more accurate? Mine reads 100% then 70- and then they’re dead. It’s supposed to provide alerts but I’ve only heard them once ever. The percentage doesn’t ever seem to be accurate either.
The app isn’t bad- I just think it could provide more custom options for people who are tech savvy. Not all people with hearing loss are 70 years old. Some of us are younger and very adept at using computers/phones/apps.

Underwhelming

Incredibly unreliable, frequently disconnects. Cumbersome way of reconnecting….just not very good
