- Point the camera toward the plant’s leaves
- Press the “Measure” button

How to interpret the measurement:

Developer Response ,

Hi! Sorry for our late reply and thank you for your feedback! We wanted to let you know that we've applied a major update: you can now choose between leaf or window light level detection for better precision, plus we added a lot of content.
Your help is invaluable and we hope this will prompt you to reconsider your Plant Light Meter review.
Best and take care!

Great tool

I have marked all my plants as favourites, but I have 2 plants that were not in the list of plants on the app. That’s why 4 stars. Also the app doesn’t talk about watering, it only talks about sunlight. Watering and a few more plants would be a good upgrade, but the app helps me to remember the name of my plants and I’ve moved some around to help them get the light that’s meant for each individual plant. If I’ve learned anything, you have to treat their needs individually.
