PopClip appears when you select text with your mouse on your Mac. Instantly access context-specific actions including copy and paste, plus extensions like Send to Evernote. If you select text containing a URL, email address or file path, PopClip can open it. Select a misspelled word, and PopClip offers corrections. Select any text to do a web search with those terms, or select a single word to get the dictionary definition.
More than 100 free extensions are available, including Paste and Match Style, Translate, Send to Evernote, Word Count, Capitalize and much, much more. See http://pilotmoon.com/popclip/extensions.
Please note: PopClip works in most Mac apps, but not in all. For an up-to-date list of known incompatible apps, see http://pilotmoon.com/popclip/apps

An amazing app from an amazing developer
Six stars if I can.
It was sad to see this app crashes instantly on high Sierra. The developer worked around the problem in about 24 hours.
I have to say that I can't think about using Mac without this app. While searching, I found this little gem and I bought it immediately without waiting for it to go on sale. In fact, I am ready to pay double or triple price to have it.
Dear mac user, if you are doing any copy and paste, do yourself a favour and don't hesitate to buy this app; it will be the most worthy money you will ever spend on the Mac app store.
Critical for research and learning
This app adds a popup bubble for selected text and numbers. If you highlight a word such as "lipid" you have the option to automatically google the word, send it to a note, send it to OneNote, make a reminder or search pubmed. If you work with information all day you will find this app extremely useful. It is among the first apps I install on new Macs.
The Best Utility Out There
I would hate to use my Mac without PopClip. I invoke it dozens of times a day, and it never fails to save me time and effort. Customizable, although there’s a large library of built-in functions. Support is excellent. Buy it.
