Starting from version 19.0, Pow-Word now includes a new swipe based interface to select letters for making words. You can also revert back to the earlier block based letters, from the Game Options menu at any time.

The objective - Form as many words from the given set of jumbled letters in each round. Your score is carried forward until you are unable to form the longest word within a round.

Simple controls and a host of features make Pow-Word a very addictive game and a great way to improve your vocabulary.

Additional Features:
- Choose between 6 and 7 letter difficulty modes
- Separate "Mixed" mode that combines 6 and 7 letter rounds
- Choice of two dictionaries - the Students dictionary with standard English words and a more comprehensive Teachers dictionary based on the SOWPODS list
- Option of an unlimited time mode
- Separate leaderboards for all modes for you to compare scores with players worldwide
- Lookup word meanings at the end of each round

Thank you, developer, for giving the option to revert to the previous layout! That sets you apart from the zillions of word games with the silly circle where you swipe back and forth. There are far too many word games with the circle, so I’m glad you gave the option to continue with the previous version.

We are sorry to hear this. You can still revert to the earlier layout if you prefer - from the main menu of the game, select select the Settings (below the PLAY button). You can choose the "TAP" option under "Select Letters" heading. This will revert to the earlier layout.

A fun word game. I have a game similar to this on the DS.

Some ways to improve it
- add a backspace when entering the words (I always seem to be hitting the wrong letter and have to start over)
- add a mode that isn't timed so you can try to challenge yourself to find all the words.

Some of the words that are in the dictionary seem to be dubious. But it's pretty fun.
