Really slow loading times!

Seriously I don’t get what’s up with presto I hate that it takes 24 hrs for your funds to load onto your card but it’s instant when you go to a shoppers drug mart or load it at a TTC presto machine.
I checked my balance and it was -$ so I had to load funds onto it through this app and when I got to my subway station it was declined didn’t REALIZE that it takes 24hrs for the funds to show up!? So I ended paying a cash fare, SO WHY does it load instantly if I load it at a shoppers or at a TTC presto machine?!?

Also this app is extremely slow at loading takes forever!!!

Seriously Presto is such a horrible transit payment system half the time the presto readers don’t even work and don’t even bother with loading funds through this app or on the website you’ll just have to wait for 24hours! The ONLY good thing I see so far with presto is the 2hr unlimited transfer limit but that’s it

UPDATE: THE PRESTO SITE ISNT EVEN WORKING!!! wow what a great system you guys have...app is garbage,the website is down...seriously we should’ve just kept it with metropasses. Presto is so flawed and has ALOT of problems

With the recent PRESTO App update, you can now instantly load your PRESTO card and check your card balance using your iPhone’s NFC capability (requires: iPhone 7 or higher, running iOS 13 or higher). To check your card balance, swipe past your last card on the app's home screen and select “Check Balance”. A quick tip to help you out; when you load or check balance, follow the on screen instructions to hold your card to the back of the phone until you hear the confirmation sound. ^RS

Add to wallet

Make the app have the ability to add the card into iphone wallet so we can tap the phone without the presto card. That would be cool!

Apple Wallet Support

The fact that it’s late 2019 and PRESTO still doesn’t support Apple Wallet is just infuriating. Last I checked, you guys have been planning this SINCE THE LAUNCH OF APPLE PAY. FOUR YEAS ALREADY.

Useless

Pros
- the GUI looks
-you can rename you card nickname which the web portal doesn’t allow you to do, so that’s nice.

Cons
- DOES NOT work, I want to emphasize this. Before I installed the app I read the app reviews, some were months old, and I figured by now they would have fixed any bugs. Nope!! Before anyone from the development team tries to reply, I tried uninstalling and installing it. The point is it does not work aside from having a good user interface, so why release it?
- balance doesn’t change even though I use the card
- transactions don’t appear on the app
- the delay on the app is horrendous, it’s 2019 and we have the technology and means to do this properly, so why is Toronto/GTA/Metrolinx lagging behind like we’re living in 90s technology.

Have to wait 4 - 24 hours before funds loaded

Great app for 2002. In 2019, loading card should be instantaneous. Should be able to load card on phone and tap Phone on presto reader in order to pay fare.

At this time, iPhones do not have the capability to offer instant PRESTO loads. If this changes in the future, we will update the app to support instant loads on iPhones. In regards to tapping your phone to pay for transit, this is not a current feature. We are pursuing options for customers to tap onto transit using their phones and we will share more details when they’re available.

Apple Wallet

It’s 3rd quarter 2020 and most transit agencies around the world with smart cards can do this. WHAT’S TAKING YOU SO LONG??? 😡😡😡

Does not update!

This app is crap! Always 24 hours or more behind. When I top up my card it doesn’t update till the next day or later??? No point of installing it. The website is a day late too. Not up to the standard of 3rd world transit systems. They work well, this does not!

Pay using phone

I wish they would create a feature where I could pay by tapping my phone or be able to add my presto to Apple Pay. It would make everything easier and I wouldn’t have to worry about losing my presto card.

Great update!

I’m giving this app a 5 stars after their recent update. I am at peace when it enable to instantly loads my funds rather than waiting up-to 24hrs before (In all reality it took 3-4hrs not 24hrs). It’s a good update. Yes, I was annoyed before but they listened and gave us what we wanted. I hope for the next update is for us to be able to use our phone to tap instead of using the physical card, since the coming iOS 14 is all about seamless experience. Also, you’re able to make the funds instantly loaded using the nfc so I guess it will be no trouble to do this request.
