Ratings and Reviews
Signed up for this app weeks ago but have yet to hear back to get my account activated. Disappointed
I am now a former goalie of this app and let me tell you, it is every bit as crap as those other bad reviews say it is! Can you believe the deciding game that the decision to fire me on, was a winning one?!? (as in the team I played for won the game, and yes I had more than 0% save percentage so I helped!)
I'll admit that last game I played with them that even though the chances were quality, 7 goals is more than my normal GAA, that is maybe at most 5 (meaning I have obviously had games with less than five goals against me too). But even the pros/NHLers sometimes give up 7 goals and I haven't given up any double digits for more than 3 years now...and when I say quality I mean like either some of them they were all alone or two on 0, or the shooter had no defenders near him and had plenty of time to make his shot...I did make some good saves on some of these still.
Like I said in review title, COMPLETE BULL$hi+. I noticed they MAY have payed out a little extra after the 11th game/so, but aside from that, the first ten games they've made enough in commission to cover my wages for 5 'bad' games even if people 1 starred me (five times) and the app stupidly advertises that will get you a full refund. I played an entire year (I don't count the first year since I never even got any games, like what other reviewers are complaining about) and 15 games for them only 3 of them were 1 star, hence they could more than cover even those 3 jerk-$0ffs...just as my six pack is starting to come out, I AM OUT! I'm not going to be young forever, now that these idiot(s) 0ffed me I can sign up with some of their competitors that don't allow you to be moonlighting with another agency, good riddance, better puck next time when I am winning the game for another company against other goalies who may have a better 'rating' but aren't actually....I've even received an in person $5 cash tip before from one of the afternoon clients. Bottom line is, you shouldn't just fire someone just cause a measly 20% of the contractors (not necessarily the opinion of the team as a whole) weren't "completely satisfied" (as per the words of their own website)...maybe go watch some of the games in person yourself and see exactly how 'bad'/good the goalie actually is and make your own d@mn accurate opinion rather than listen to a few disgruntled customers. In what job are ALL of your clients/colleagues going to be always happy? Freaking $n00bs...in the NHL I'm sure sometimes your lead goalie has a few bad games from time to time, you going to fire every one of them?
