Punishing: Gray Raven 12+

Pros:
- Decent characters
- refreshing combat mechanism
- Difficulty for everyone (support system adds your friends unit as a npc unit in battle, lowering the difficulty).
- No direct pvp, only rankings based on combat ratings
- stamina cap is 14+ hours (works for weekdays)
- Original CN server makes new characters very accessible
- Devs update frequently on social media

Cons:
- 20% reward reduction when using sweep feature, and not implemented on many levels. - 21 clears needed to get full reward from weekly coop battles
-lack of challenging bosses that give proportional rewards atm

Monetization Issue Resulting in 3 star:
Global receives 7% less premium currency (rainbow card, “rc”) compared to CN server for same tier top-up/IAP.

Why it matters:
Global players are not valued as much to the Developers. Incentive for compromised future content.

How the conclusion was reached:

Many countries charge sales tax that are calculated on top of IAP price that appear in your account bill but not when purchasing. To achieve the same satisfaction as someone playing on the CN server (given “rc” is proportional to satisfaction), global server players need to pay the IAP price + the extra “price difference and tax related to the difference”.

Some players have brought this up, and the devs Twitter response (@PGR_GLOBAL) on July 19th are concerning:

“[EXCHANGE RATES AND TAXES]
Because both Google Play and the App Store have their own pricing templates, the price of in-app purchases is automatically converted by the store’s own exchange rate system. We sadly do not have full control over this, and ask for your understanding on the matter.”

Another section “[RAINBOW CARD AND MONTHLY PASS PRICING]” does not mention the difference in premium currency rate either.
The developer does not seem to be willing to address regional pricing. Current quality of translation is inversely proportional to their effort to profit from global players. Quality of future content is questionable.

Recommendation:
Play CN server if you really like the game and the issue concerns you.

Devs are used to global servers adjusting to their needs. 3 star will be the upper limit until equal treatment from the devs.

Please do not let the comments left on the promotions for PGR put a negative light on this game. Its actually really amazing! The story development is fantastic and I love the characters already! The combat animations are unique and flashy in their own way; they definitely match the aesthetic with the game.

I would really recommend this game and hope many other people enjoy it like I do! 😭❤️

This game was out for one whole week with issues being addressed and formally apologized. It was a MISTAKE not a purposeful shady way for the company to take advantage of. These people are getting mad about 99 cents worth of content. Egotistical babies who think the game should be tailored specifically for their needs. This game is great you should give it a try.
