Privacy fine print

It's a great idea but if you read the permissions in the app settings. It can view all passwords, cc info and other sensitive info. I'd rather just log into rakuten when I'm ready to shop vs it tracking access to everything I'm browsing.

Privacy Concerns

Installed this thinking it would be a nice add-on since I always forget to get cash back on my purchases. However, it's probably not worth having Rakuten spy on literally everything I do on my browser.

Here's the permissions they ask for: "Can read sensitive information from webpages, including PASSWORDS, PHONE NUMBERS, and CREDIT CARDS on ALL WEBPAGES".

In a world where you hear about a new privacy breach daily, I don't need to be just giving away all of my info and all of my browsing sessions. Be smarter, Rakuten... any smart computer user knows this is just data mining, and for what... a few dollars? No thank you.

Slows Safari browser

Apart from the extreme privacy issues stated by other reviewers, this extension also slows the functionality of Safari.
I'll log into Rakuten Canada when I'm ready to purchase something online rather than have this track my private personal details and online activity.
