Just what I was looking for

Simple, straightforward and flexible. I’ve searched for a long time to find an app that lets me design my own workouts and name my own exercises. All I need is a tracker and this is excellent. No frills, all business.

Almost perfect

I love this app, it’s simple, straightforward and everything I need out of a free app. It’s easy to keep track of your workouts and progression. The only reason why it’s not a five star for me is I wish it would integrate to Apple Watch so I could enter data on my watch and not have to carry my phone with my in the gym. Other than that it’s my fav tracker!

Simple but flexible

This workout tracker is great when you only need to track activity. You can track sets, and reps for various exercises which also allow you to add your own. Built in timer for rest periods with customizable preset durations.

It doesn’t include much workout guidance which may not be attractive for beginners.

Other than having an indicator of the previous sets and reps for a given workout, the free version doesn’t give you much statistics. You require the paid version which in my opinion is WAY too expensive for what you get. The developer isn’t providing much and hiding important features behind a paywall without even offering a perpetual license. You get good value out of the free version but I don’t appreciate these practices.

Hi!

I am glad you like the app, but sorry you feel that way about the workout premium features. It is always hard to know when to draw the line between free and paid, but the fact is that most RepCount users, even those that have been using the app for years, never pay me anything for their usage. Unlike many competitors, RepCount does not have any limitations of number of routines or custom exercises, which means you can absolutely use the free version forever if you want. Regarding pricing, RepCount is priced inline with the competion. I can’t think of many competitors with this amount of users and active development and support that is priced much lower than this, but I may of course be wrong.

Anyway, the good thing about the price is that it is on a level where it is sustainable and I can afford to keep the servers running and keep working on the app full time, so you can be sure that the app will be there for many years to come. That would not have been possible without the subscription.
