Description
This is an audio player designed to enhance your experience with language learning MP3s, CDs, and podcast materials. It identifies silent parts within the audio and segments them into phrases, allowing for repeat playback of each phrase, insertion of pauses between phrases, generation and editing of text from the audio, speaking practice through voice recognition, and playback speed adjustment.
Upon initial installation, users can enjoy ad-free background playback for a limited period without needing a subscription. After this period, almost all features remain accessible. Registration of an account is not required. The app underwent significant updates in 2022 and has continued to improve in 2023 and into 2024. If you're using MP3s or CD audio for language learning, please give it a try.

■ What's New
- You can now add phrase texts to your vocabulary book. Register them by swiping left on the phrase list in the playback screen. (The vocabulary book is available from cut & loop 3.23.0, iOS 17.4 and later)
- You can now reset the playback and display settings to their default values.
■ Recent Updates
- Added a vocabulary book feature where you can record phrases and words you want to keep (available from iOS 17.4). It is currently accessible from the playback screen.
- You can now disable the auto-lock feature while playing. This can be set in the display settings. (iOS 17 and later. Paid version only.) Useful for keeping the screen on while playing.
■Tips
- Tapping on the [Skip] or [Oneshot] text in the playback screen will display the settings screen.
- Long pressing [Skip] or [Oneshot] allows you to easily toggle them on or off.
Ratings and Reviews
Supporting multi-language needed
It's an awesome app for me to practice my English listening skill, but unfortunatelyonly Japanese is available. If I'm not a Chinese who can figure out some Kanji, I don't know how to use this app. So if possible, please add English, French, Germany, ect., so that other countries' people who are now studying English can make full use of this app. Thank you.

cut & loop was significantly renewed in January 2022 (now Version 3.2.1). It is now available in English, so please give it a try if you like.
Please give customer one time subscription or yearly subscription fee please fee.

I will consider offering long-term subscriptions.
And I am afraid that I don't have a plan to offer a permanent license because the app needs to be continuously updated, such as when the iOS is updated.
The amount of features is amazing
The subscription is a no brainer. But it can also be used without it with some ads. Support the dev, it’s definitely save you more time than doing it manually. Amazing👌🏻
