Here in Cochrane, COLT: Cochrane On-Demand Local Transit is a bold new way to deliver transit, designed specifically for our community. COLT uses technology to provide responsive on-demand service — where and when Cochranites want it.

It’s fine.

I wish there was an actual bus service in Cochrane instead of having to book in advance. Scheduling is weird and buses are usually late. There’s nothing in our neighbourhood so the app always says unavailable instead of finding the stop closest to us (11 min walk away). It’s fine, but not great.

I also wish I could take the bus to church, but there’s no service on Sundays or on Saturday’s after three. Inconvenient.

It’s always late.

Even if the bus gets there early, I always get dropped off late.

Not available when needed

It says when ever I need to be picked up that it’s not available or it’s busy elsewhere. I go later and all of a sudden it’s available but I will be late getting to my destination by at minimum a half an hour. Get more buses or have a set route like all other bus things... 😒
